Where to shop? After a disastrous week for the British High Street, with the demise of Debenhams and the Arcadia Group, be thankful that there are still some shining retail beacons of hope.
Smart, interesting and stylish brands that reflect your business credentials and your personality do exist and are well worth exploring.
Here are my top 5 picks of where to shop right now
1) Dai
Fabulous, comfortable workwear in amazing sustainable fabrics – they claim you could do a yoga class in their suits! https://daiwear.com
2) COS
Gorgeous clothes, with interesting colours and designs that stand the test of time: https://www.cosstores.com/
3) & Other Stories
Designer look alike pieces at a fraction of the cost. Slightly quirky but very stylish: https://www.stories.com
4) Massimo Dutti
This is Zara’s older sibling – the styling is more classic and uses better quality fabrics. The tailoring is fantastic, with a slight edge: https://www.massimodutti.com/gb/
5) Arket
Sophisticated Scandinavian design and part of the H&M group (as are & Other Stories and COS). Simple quality, using sustainable fabrics: https://www.arket.com/
Other options to consider of where to shop for for good quality and interesting business wear include, Hobbs, Reiss, Boden, and Zara.
There are many more high street and independent options that are worth investigating and that will hopefully survive the pared down retail sector.
And if all this seems like too much, take a look at my Style Sessions that can included some Personal Shopping!
